Back on the west coast

A few hours north of Perth there are some great stretches of coast to camp on. It can be pretty windy, but if you have the right set up, you can hunker down and protect yourself from the wind.

We have a few favourite spots along what is aptly known as the ‘Turquoise Coast’ and we try to get up there whenever we can.

There’s loads to do including swimming, fishing, playing with sea lions and dolphins, windsurfing, stand-up-paddleboarding, and more recently The Driver has been doing some kitesurfing.

So here are some pics from a trip along this stretch of coast in December 2012.

Everything including a kitchen sink…

Amazing thunderstorms over Nambung National Park dunes on our way north

What’s not to love about this?

Pure bliss

Well needed shade
